International Tiles offers a bespoke hand-painted ceramic tile service. We employ our own Studio Artist and we spend a lot of time researching the market to find the most innovative, hand made, hand painted quality products available. As a result we work with a pool of professional Studio Artists – some one-man bands, others works as part of a larger company but all able to produce unique works of art. We will listen to the project you want to undertake and then refer you to the best person for the job.
Tiles can be painted entirely to our clients’ specifications. Using a combination of traditional and contemporary techniques tiles are glazed and fired, often many times, to create permanent colours and a durable, hardwearing finish.

Handmade Tiles
If a painting or design is not your requirement and you want the ultimate plain tile without a uniform, manufactured finish then you might like to look at some handmade tiles. To appreciate these gems you really need to touch, feel and look at them in different lights. Often they are such beautiful pieces that it seems a shame to fix them! Each tile can vary slightly in size, colours will be fairly consistent but markings will vary depending on your choice. It is amazing how a solid mass of colour can be made to look so interesting but often these tiles work well with a mix or combination of colours. We can help you put this idea together to match your own individual colour scheme.
