Marble is a crystalline, metamorphic rock born of limestone or dolostone. The impurities in the marble actually give it its characteristic, causing colours and banding to form. Cut pieces of marble are put through a tumbling process to create the aged look.
Tumbled marble is porous and will need to be sealed. It is suitable for floors and walls. We have vast selections of tumbled marble borders and tiles in various colours and sizes. These tiles can be mixed with other ranges to create borders, centrepieces or different designs. The permutations and styles are endless. Natural products are unique and part of the inherent characteristic of these tiles is the imperfections. It is impossible to display the exact product that will be supplied and we would urge you to visit the showroom to see many different tiles in the same range. This gives you a broader spectrum of the effect you want to achieve and we can get current batch samples for you to ensure the closest possible colour match. Whilst the colour cannot be guaranteed we want to ensure there are no surprises when you receive your order and we will also provide all the necessary advice for looking after your natural stone.
Several types of tumbled marble tiles are available.

Brick marble mesh is also available where the rectangular tiles are placed in brick bond style or pencil style on top of one another. Octagonal mosaics inspired from the 30’s are also now being introduced using a combination of coloured insets in between the octagonals.
