Sometimes customers are put off stone and ceramics because of the cold feel to the tiles. In reality these tiles do not affect the temperature of a room but some do not like the hardness of the floor as this gives a cold image. Often you have to weigh up the practicality of a tiled floor which is often the best solution for most downstairs areas as opposed to wood, vinyl or carpet which are not water resistant and can be easily stained or marked. If the room is warm with plenty of heating then under floor heating will not be necessary. We can help advise you where under floor heating can work best. For example in a conservatory that gets particularly cold in the winter or a bathroom that has just a heated towel rail for heat source. We will not, however, try and talk you into buying under floor heating in addition to the tiles!
Our underfloor heating can be used with stone, tiles, wood, vinyl or carpet. They can be used as the primary source of heat but can also simply just take the chill off a cold floor in an area with an existing heat source. The system is maintenance free and has a 10-year warranty. It works on a thermostat with heated mats. Please telephone for a quote or visit the showroom for a demonstration.
